Vogafjós Restaurant was inaugurated in 1999 and from the beginning the emphasis has always been on close connection with the agriculture.
We are a farm-to-table restaurant and therefore, we focus on using our own products as much as possible. These include smoked lamb, smoked trout, homemade cheese, homemade pastries, Geysir bread (baked in the underground with geothermal heat) and, of course, meat from our own farm.
Our ambition is to serve local products of the finest quality.
The restaurant also hosts a small boutique country store with Icelandic handcraft art and traditional goods.
