Accommodation

Vogafjós Guesthouse is a family run guesthouse, warm and cosy, built in 2005. The guesthouse consists of two loghouses with ten rooms each and one loghouse with four superior king double rooms, all with private bathrooms - a total of 24 rooms. The rooms are well furnished. They are designed to let our guests feel relaxed while enjoying the unique natural environment Mývatn offers.

The cancellation policy is the following:

• If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. 
• If cancelled or modified later, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 
• In case of no show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Please note that pets are not allowed. 

Breakfast

Traditional Icelandic breakfast is served in our cowshed café "Vogafjós", just a three-minute walk from the guesthouse. While having breakfast you can watch the cows being milked (starts around 7:30) and even taste the fresh warm milk direct from the cows.

Breakfast time varies between seasons.
